Please join us in reaching the teens of Battle Ground at a BGYL Club run-through on January 15th!

Many of you know students who see their schools as a mission field. We are asking to partner with mature students as we start Young Life Club on January 22nd. Since the beginning of the school year, our Young Life volunteers have been at Battle Ground High School every week, multiple times a week. We know kids by name; we call them by name; and, now, we are going to start inviting them to Club.

As much as we have been doing, nothing compares to students who are there with their non-Christian friends every day. YL Club will be a place where those students, who would be hesitant to follow their Christian friends to a church building, would be willing to go.

On January 15th, Battle Ground Young Life will be performing a practice club run-though. This will be a time for my friends (you!), Christian students, youth workers and interested volunteers to cast a vision for the young people of Battle Ground through Young Life. By joining us, there is no commitment to continue; only a reflection that we — the Body of Christ partnering with God in HIS work — are in this together.

We know you have vision and we want you to continue your work. My goal for BGYL has always been that the whole Church in Battle Ground has ownership of this work. Join us for an encouraging night of food, fun, relationship building and vision casting.

· 7:55 p.m. – Prayer

Over the last year, I’ve come to know many of you. I know God is moving in our community. We’ve seen it in passionate young people. I see it at the high school. I hear about it from you all. I hope to see you on the 15th!
